Tennessee Jim’s Core Principles

– The only thing I know for sure is that I don’t know anything for sure.

– The only thing constant in the universe is change, with one exception – human nature, which is forever the same.

– Strive for continuous improvement , not continuous growth.

– It is not enough to do the right thing. It also has to be done at the right time.

– In the event of an economic collapse, seeds will be more valuable than silver; silver will be more valuable than gold. Save gold, silver, and seeds.

– Shamanic, tribal, stone age, hunter-gatherer social systems are the highest level of human civilization. They are totally egalitarian, not only for humans, but for all living things, and also for the natural systems which regulate the planet’s ecology. Therefore, they are infinitely sustainable and continuously improving. The end result is the garden of Eden. In our time, in the absence of such a system or even a pristine environment capable of sustaining the current population density (our cultural death trip), the best we can do is to promote and cooperate in living a low impact lifestyle based on self reliance, self sufficiency, and sustainability.

– Never give up.
